Job summary

Strive Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Actuarial Underwriting, to support actuarial functions and evaluate new business opportunities. The role involves executing projects using actuarial and statistical methods and reporting to the Senior Director, Actuarial.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders to quantify risk and value for prospective clients. This position offers hybrid-remote flexibility, comprehensive benefits, a 401k with employer match, a target annual bonus of 10%,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in Actuarial services, Healthcare Economics, or related field.
• Minimum three completed actuarial exams.
• Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency <60 ms.
• Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Support actuarial functions and evaluate new business opportunities.
• Develop opportunity assessments with the business development team.
• Refine the opportunity assessment model with industry data and operating assumptions.
• Support contracting by evaluating financial impact of key contract terms.
• Develop client-specific assumptions as part of budgeting processes.
• Partner with FP&A to refine operating model assumptions.
• Represent Finance on the Strategic Pricing committee.
• Create and present materials for client presentations, communicating Strive’s impact.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Strive’s Finance, Partner Success, and Growth functions to identify data-driven opportunities.
• Present models and deliver insights to diverse audiences.
