Job summary

Strive Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Actuarial Underwriting to support actuarial functions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on evaluating new business opportunities. The role offers an actuarial study program and reports to the Senior Director, Actuarial.

You will work with the business development and contracting teams to refine models, develop client-specific assumptions, and present findings to diverse partners while contributing to Strive's impact in value-based

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in Actuarial services, Healthcare Economics, or related field.
• Minimum three completed actuarial exams.
• Internet Connectivity - Min Speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down): Latency
• Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with our business development team in developing opportunity assessments for new clients or expansions.
• Refine the opportunity assessment model to leverage more industry data and operating assumptions.
• Support the contracting team by evaluating the financial impact of key contract terms.
• Develop client-specific assumptions for new business as a part of the broader Finance budgeting process.
• Partner with FP&A to refine operating model assumptions supporting new business evaluation.
• Represent Finance on the Strategic Pricing committee.
• Create and present materials for client presentations, clearly communicating Strive's impact.
• Partner with key stakeholders across Strive's Finance, Partner Success, and Growth functions to identify data-driven opportunities to add value to existing and potential partners.
• Present models and deliver insights/expertise to a diverse audience and communicates analyses and results to internal and external partners.
