Job summary

Strive Health is seeking a Senior Analyst, Actuarial Underwriting to support actuarial functions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on evaluating new business opportunities. The Senior Analyst will execute work assignments using actuarial and statistical methods, with an actuarial study program to support exams.

This role reports to the Senior Director, Actuarial. You’ll partner with Finance, Partner Success, and Growth teams to present models and deliver insights to clients

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years experience in Actuarial services, Healthcare Economics, or related field.
• Minimum three completed actuarial exams.
• Internet connectivity - Min speeds: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down); Latency <60 ms.
• Ability to travel and be onsite to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Work with business development to evaluate opportunities for new clients or expansions.
• Refine the opportunity assessment model using industry data and operating assumptions.
• Evaluate the financial impact of key contract terms.
• Develop client-specific assumptions for new business budgeting.
• Partner with FP&A to refine operating model assumptions.
• Represent Finance on the Strategic Pricing committee.
• Create and present materials for client presentations.
• Collaborate with Finance, Partner Success, and Growth to identify data-driven opportunities.
• Present models and insights to internal and external partners.
