Job summary

Careview Transitional Care of Weston is seeking an Activities Assistant to help plan and lead engaging activities for skilled nursing residents. You will support the Activities Director and contribute to a welcoming, resident‑centered environment.

The role emphasizes compassionate interaction, effective communication with residents and families, and flexibility to adapt activities to individual needs. Join a team focused on meaningful moments and high‑quality senior care.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning or recreational therapy is preferred.
• Background in social work or senior care is a plus.
• Experience in assisted living or SNF settings is highly desirable.
• Must possess class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist Activities Director and help plan and facilitate recreational activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well‑being for residents.
• Collaborate with staff to tailor activities to resident needs and preferences.
• Maintain schedule management for daily events and ensure materials are prepared in advance.
• Provide companionship and support to residents during activities and foster a sense of community.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding activity planning and resident preferences.
