Job summary

The Providence Groups, LLC seeks a Community Life Assistant to support residents through engaging activities in a full-time capacity at our Kentucky location. You will assist in planning and executing programs that enhance well-being and social interaction.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma and strong communication skills, with 6–12 months of elder-care or activity-related experience preferred. You must be flexible for weekends/holidays and open to training within six months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 6–12 months of elder-care or activity-related experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to enroll in an activities training course within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement recreational activities for residents.
• Encourage resident participation in activities.
• Set up and clean activity areas.
• Maintain records of resident participation.
• Provide one-on-one support to residents needing assistance.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure activities meet residents' needs.
• Attend staff meetings and training sessions.
