Job summary

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation in Anderson, SC is seeking an Activity/Member Assistant to join our team. You will plan and implement engaging activities for elderly and young adults, while providing personal care and fostering a supportive environment.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. We offer full-time hours, a daytime schedule, and benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals preferred.
• Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license.
• CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean background check and drug test.
• Physically able to assist members with personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing engaging activities, including arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs.
• Provide hands-on personal care (ADL assistance) to members, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.
• Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members.
• Set up and clean activity areas to ensure a safe and organized space.
• Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health, reporting to the RN Administrator.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
