PACS Group is seeking an Activity Assistant to help implement a creative activities program aligned with residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial needs. You will work under the Activity Director, planning events, coordinating calendars, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes collaboration with staff, families, and community resources, with a focus on meaningful resident engagement and documentation of progress.

Formación

• Ability to read technical procedures and policy manuals.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and staff.
• Comfort with basic math for measurements and percentages.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and conduct individual, small and large group activities.
• Assist in communication between staff, residents, families, and agencies.
• Assist in developing monthly activity calendar and maintaining attendance records.
• Support discharge planning and activity care plans for residents.
• Arrange transportation for residents when needed for outings or appointments.
• Develop monthly activity schedules including outings, group activities, and in-room activities.
• Encourage participation in self-initiated activities and provide necessary materials.
• Assist with assessment documentation and quarterly progress notes.
