Job summary

Montage International in Bluffton, SC is seeking a Lead Activities Specialist to serve as subject matter expert, lead guide, and mentor for the Activities Department. You will deliver exceptional guest and member experiences while leading a variety of recreational programs, including boat tours and archery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in outdoor recreation, guiding, hospitality, tourism, or related field.
• Experience leading tours or training team members preferred.
• Strong passion for guest service and creating memorable experiences.
• Ability to collaborate with managers, supervisors, and other resort departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, training, coaching, and development of Activities Attendants and Compass Associates.
• Ensure associates are trained and confident in leading tours, operating equipment, and safety standards.
• Mentor team members in guest service, activity operations, and equipment management.
• Develop and implement new recreational programs and experiences to enhance guest experience and revenue.
• Plan and execute special events, holiday programming, and children’s activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment and promote Montage standards.
