Job summary

SEARHC in Alaska seeks a Restorative Nursing Aide/Activity Coordinator to oversee the long term care activity program, promote resident safety, and support residents’ daily living activities and rehabilitation goals. You will plan activities with the interdisciplinary team, document progress, manage the budget, coordinate with families, and mentor staff and volunteers.

The position includes weekends, evenings, holidays, and a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and able to communicate clearly with residents.
• Must have active CNA, OT, or OTA licensure and related certs within 3 years.
• Experience in long-term care activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning, organizing, and directing the activity program.
• Collaborates with administrative, medical, and nursing staff to plan activities.
• Maintains progress notes and documentation of resident activities.
