Job summary

AA Healthcare Management in Wisconsin seeks an Activity Aide to support an engaging activity program for residents. Working under the Activity Director, you will organize, supervise and deliver a diverse schedule of recreational, spiritual, and social activities.

You will conduct daily resident visits, document participation, help set individual goals, collaborate with nursing, dietary and other teams, and help prepare materials for daily programs.

Qualifications

• Organize, direct and execute a well-balanced activity program under the Activity Director.
• Daily one-to-one visitation with residents.
• Balance small, medium and large group activities.
• Provide recreational, intellectual, religious service and community programs.
• Lead daily group exercises.
• Lead evening and weekend programs as directed.
• Record resident participation and chart progress quarterly.
• Collaborate with nursing, dietary and other departments to set goals.
• Attend in-service classes and conferences as directed.
• Introduce new residents to available activities.
• Assist in forming monthly activity schedule and evaluate programs.
• Prepare materials and supplies for day’s programs and flag needs.
• Coordinate goals and schedules with other departments to avoid clashes.
