Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC in Dedham, MA is hiring an Activity Assistant on a per dieme basis to enrich the daily lives of residents. You will help plan and implement activities, support transportation needs, and foster a caring community atmosphere.

The role requires creativity, strong communication, and basic computer skills. A driver’s license is required with a clean record. Per diem shifts offer flexibility and exposure to senior care.”

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Gerontology experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license in state of work with no more than two moving violations in three years.
• Must lift a minimum of 15 lbs and be able to perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing residence activities.
• Suggest ideas to improve Activities Program.
• Maintain warm, professional relationships with residents and families.
• Assist with transportation to community activities and escorts.
• Expand Volunteer Programs and residence store operations.
• Assist with newsletters and calendars.
• Attend in-service training and orientation.
• Drive residents in a van as needed.
