Job summary

LCB Senior Living is hiring a Memory Care Activity Assistant at Traditions of Dedham. This part-time role involves planning and implementing engaging activities for residents, coordinating transportation, and supporting volunteers and residents daily.

We value creativity, English communication, and the ability to work independently. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with a valid driver's license and a willingness to drive as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to assist in development and implementation of activities.
• Ability to create interest in activities and motivate residents to participate daily.
• Creativity and motivational skills are necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written).
• Must be able to bend, stretch, stoop and lift.
• Experience with computer literacy and office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, and implementing all residence activities.
• Develop suggestions to improve and expand the Activities Program.
• Maintain professional, warm relationships with residents and families.
• Arrange transportation and escorts for residents to activities.
• Assist with volunteers and residence store operations.
• Assist with monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Attend ongoing in-service training sessions and orientation.
• Drive residents in a van as needed.
