Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Acquisition Management and Contracting Professional to lead and advise on DoD/DoW acquisition programs.

You will manage high-impact projects, guide senior clients, and mentor teams while ensuring compliance with DoD processes and security requirements. You will oversee planning, transformation projects, cost and performance management, and business development efforts, traveling as needed to support customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Secret Clearance required
• US citizenship required
• 15+ years of related acquisition/program management experience with 10+ years in a leadership position
• Extensive knowledge of DoD/DoW program management and contracting policies
• Experience with Defense Acquisition management processes (DoD 5000 series, FAR/DFARs)
• Ability to lead projects end-to-end (cost, schedule, performance) and manage stakeholders
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and proposal development capabilities
• Willingness to travel up to 10–25% as required

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Acquisition Management and Contracting analysis and transformation projects
• Lead analysis and development of final products and recommendations
• Prepare final products; plan and facilitate meetings and workshops
• Support cost, schedule, and performance management activities
• Manage customer relationships throughout projects
• Provide leadership, SME guidance, and change management support
• Contribute to strategic planning, policy development and performance standards
• Assist with contract execution, program reviews, and contractor performance assessments
• Identify and capture Acquisition Management opportunities during proposals
• Oversee overall project execution
