Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking an Acquisitions Management and Contracting Professional to lead high-impact DoD-related programs. You will advise executive clients, plan acquisition strategies, and transform contracting capabilities across major weapon systems.

A Secret clearance, DoD knowledge, and leadership experience are required. The role involves guiding proposal development, managing risk, and leading a team of professionals while engaging senior government officials.

Qualifications

• Secret Clearance required.
• US citizenship required.
• Master's degree in a relevant field with 15+ years of related acquisition/program management experience and 10+ years in leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of DoD/DoW program management and contracting policies and procedures.
• Experience with DoD 5000 series directives and FAR/DFARs.
• Ability to lead projects end-to-end including cost, schedule and performance.
• Strong communication and client management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Acquisition Management and Contracting analysis and transformation projects.
• Develop recommendations and final products from analyses.
• Lead preparation of final products and facilitate meetings/workshops.
• Support cost, schedule, and performance management activities.
• Manage customer relationships throughout project execution.
• Provide SME guidance on acquisition initiatives and change management.
• Contribute to strategic planning, policy development, and performance standards.
• Assist with contract execution, program reviews, and contractor assessments.
• Identify and capture Acquisition Management opportunities during proposals.
• Oversee project execution.
