Job summary

Victaulic is seeking a Senior Acoustical & Vibration Engineer to expand its vibration isolation and acoustic capabilities. You will bridge Victaulic with the acoustical consulting community and review designs to ensure alignment with specifications. Over time, you’ll grow into direct acoustic and vibration consulting on projects.

You will build relationships, advise on product development, and create internal documentation to support specification positions across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering, acoustics, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience at an acoustical or MEP consulting firm, with responsibility for building noise and vibration design.
• Hands-on experience with equipment vibration isolation selection, structure-borne noise control, floating floors, and pipe/duct isolation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with acoustical consultants, MEP engineers, and architects across North America.
• Review project specifications/drawings to advise on Victaulic’s vibration isolation solutions.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for consultant questions on product performance and criteria.
• Develop technical guidance, application notes, and training materials for engineering and sales teams.
• Advise leadership on product development, testing data, and documentation for specifications.
