Job summary

Specified Technologies Inc. (STI) in Somerville, New Jersey, is hiring a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist for a hybrid role. You will manage payments, reconcile cash, and maintain customer master data while collaborating with Accounting, Sales, and Customer Service teams.

The position requires 3–5 years of AR experience, an associate degree in accounting/finance, and proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel. This role supports cash flow and internal controls in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Apply customer payments accurately and timely to the appropriate accounts and invoices.
• Research and reconcile customer payments, unapplied cash, short payments, overpayments, and other discrepancies.
• Reconcile bank activity and accounts receivable transactions between banking platforms and the ERP system.
• Support the resolution of customer deductions, disputes, pricing discrepancies, and rebates.
• Maintain customer master data and distributor accounts, hierarchies, and relationships.
• Prepare accounts receivable and cash application reports and analyze activity for trends.
• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.
