Job summary

Specified Technologies Inc. in Burlington, NJ seeks a Shipping & Receiving Associate to unload, inspect, and stock inbound shipments, and to prepare outbound orders with accuracy.

The role is on-site at our Burlington facility and supports daily warehouse operations. This position requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of warehouse experience, plus familiarity with RF scanners and Warehouse Management Systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
• Experience with RF scanners and WMS preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Experience with FedEx/UPS shipping processes.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, and stock inbound shipments.
• Pick, pack, label, and load outbound shipments.
• Track, trace, and update shipment status for orders.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, log sheets, and proof of delivery.
• Create packing slips, delivery receipts, load tags, and address labels.
• Schedule trucks and manage dock scheduling systems.
• Provide backup support to shipping and receiving operations.

Role Description

We are seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate who will be responsible for the accurate and timely shipment, receipt, and tracking of products, materials, and supplies. This role plays a key part in supporting daily warehouse operations by unloading deliveries, stocking inventory, preparing outbound shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory and shipping records.

This is an on-site role based at our Burlington, NJ Manufacturing & Warehouse Facility.

What You’ll Do:

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, and stock inbound shipments


• Pick, pack, label, and load outbound shipments


• Track, trace, and update shipment status for inbound and outbound orders


• Maintain accurate inventory records, log sheets, and proof of delivery


• Create packing slips, delivery receipts, load tags, and address labels


• Schedule trucks and manage dock scheduling systems


• Expedite priority inbound materials as needed


• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area


• Provide backup support to shipping and receiving operations

Qualifications: Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience


• Experience using RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS preferred)


• Experience with FedEx/UPS shipping processes


• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days

Skills

• Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management abilities


• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally


• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and Excel
