Twenty-Six Defense in Roanoke, VA seeks an Accounts Payable Specialist to manage AP processing for the Warfighter Systems division and support Concur travel expenses, payroll as needed, and closing entries.

Role reports to the General Accounting Manager; requires a college degree in Accounting or Finance and 2–5+ years AP experience. Strong Excel and GAAP/SOX knowledge preferred; ERP experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 2–5+ years AP experience; payroll experience a plus.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process Accounts Payables invoices.
• Maintain AP ledger and schedule weekly check runs.
• Process wire payments and debit memos.
• Assist with payroll processing and monthly closings.
