Air Control Concepts in Norfolk, VA is seeking an Accounts Payable Senior Specialist to manage high-volume invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing support. The role offers hybrid flexibility after training and an exempt status with a salary range of $55–60k per year.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of AP experience, strong Excel skills, and a cross-functional collaboration mindset to ensure accurate financial records and timely payments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts payable experience, preferably in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with customer invoicing and billing processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of vendor invoices accurately and timely.
• Review invoices for proper approvals, coding, and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process vendor payments through check, ACH, wire, and other methods.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding items.
• Assist with month-end close activities and accruals.
