• Proficiency with accounting software and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Oversee matching of purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices to validate transactions.
• Enter and maintain accurate records of financial transactions in the accounting system.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, wire transfers) per schedule.
• Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal departments.
• Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Maintain organized filing systems for AP documentation.
• Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support AP best practices.
• Experience with multiple entities.
