Crescent Energy, Houston-based energy company, seeks an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead the AP function and drive process improvements. You will oversee vendor invoices, employee expenses, and payment processing through SAP and OpenInvoice, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in AP and a proven track record guiding high-volume, multi-entity operations, with strong leadership and data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive accounts payable and accounting experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience leading accounts payable teams.
• Experience overseeing high-volume, multi-entity accounts payable operations.
• Experience with SAP, OpenInvoice, and OpenTicket.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and manage the Accounts Payable function, including supervisors, specialists, and support staff.
• Oversee timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and employee expense reports through SAP and OpenInvoice.
• Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and internal control frameworks.
• Direct payment activities (ACH, wire transfers, checks) and vendor data governance.
• Partner with Treasury to optimize cash management and payment strategies.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities and AP accruals.
