The Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator plays a critical role in supporting the accountingdepartment and Operations by executing a wide range of administrative and financial tasks. Thisposition is responsible for recording costs, performing reconciliations, analyzing data, andgenerating financial reports. It involves the use of various accounting systems and technologies toensure accurate data entry and effective financial record maintenance. Strong cross-departmentalcollaboration is essential to ensure precise job cost tracking and comprehensive financialreporting.

YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:

• Reconcile various Accounts Payable (AP) accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and post accounting entries in accordance with accounting standards anddeadlines.
• Participate in the month-end close process and assist with financial reportingactivities.
• Process weekly AP check runs to ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Review vendor statements and collaborate with project teams to resolve outstandinginvoices.
• Review, approve, and enter corporate invoices as needed, maintaining accuracy andcompliance.
• Review and approve diverse expense reports to ensure compliance with company polices andaccuracy of submissions.
• Maintain vendor records across multiple accounting systems to ensure data integrity.
• Prepare and file year-end 1099 forms in compliance with IRS regulations.
• Import and record costs prior to month-end to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Serve as a backup for other AP team members to ensure continuity of operations.
• Support the implementation of new accounting processes and systems, including training teammembers.
• Provide internal technical support for SAP Concur Invoice and Expense, assisting users withtroubleshooting and system navigation.
• Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned by the Corporate Accounting Manager.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:(Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the

• Associate’s Degree with accounting experience, Accounting Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience with increasing levels of responsibility, preferablywith Construction industry experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Word, Adobe PDF, and Experience with ConstructionAccounting Software (Sage experience a plus). Excel mastery is required(VLookup, SumIf, PivotTables, and basic macros).
• Working knowledge of Textura, Procore, and SAP Concur is a plus.
