Morgan Benjamin Search Group is seeking a Senior AP Analyst for a high-volume role in a growing manufacturing and construction company in Houston. You will own the full-cycle AP, review invoices, manage vendors, perform reconciliations, and process payments, with a focus on accuracy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive AP experience, with 3+ years at a senior or supervisory level.
• Must have Manufacturing, construction, or project based experience.
• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, INDEX MATCH, Pivot Tables, and data analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ownership mindset and willingness to dig into issues to reach the right answer.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full cycle AP, including invoice review, vendor management, reconciliations, and payment processing
• Analyze and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies while partnering with internal departments and vendors
• Support month end close, reporting, audits, and AP process improvements
• Become the subject matter expert on the company’s AI enabled AP processing system

We are looking for a Senior AP Analyst to take ownership of the company’s AP function. This is a high volume, hands on role for someone who is analytical, proactive, and enjoys investigating discrepancies, solving problems, and improving processes rather than simply processing invoices.
