Job summary

Erie 1 BOCES plays a significant role in coordinating NYS data collection and state testing for Western NY schools. We are seeking a Senior Account Clerk Typist to join our Data Services team to help districts with state testing needs.

The ideal candidate will assist with billing, provide phone and email support to districts, and maintain accurate financial records. This role is based at the West Seneca campus and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Accounting or Business with 1 year experience in financial records.
• Alternative high school diploma with 3 years experience in financial records.
• Or 7 years experience in compilation and maintenance of financial records.
• Equivalent combination of training and experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Assist with billing related tasks.
• Assist with participation review.
• Provide phone and email support to districts.
• Order supplies as needed.
• Prepare and ship assessment materials to districts.
• Review district assessment orders.
• Scan student answer sheets.
• Maintain customer contact information.
• Schedule meetings and trainings.
• Other duties may be assigned that are relevant to the civil service job description for this title
