Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Four years of experience in accounting, auditing, finance, economics, or general business administration; or a combination of college education, training and experience totaling four years.
• Education may substitute for experience at 30 semester hours per year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare accounting data input documents; record revenues, expenditures, and encumbrances; reconcile accounts.
• Process biweekly payroll and audit timecards for accuracy; process invoices and audits.
• Prepare reports, schedules, and audits; assist in budget review and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with NM Procurement Code and county policies; maintain records and respond to inquiries.
• Work with county staff to ensure proper payment of accounts payable.
