Job summary

Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) is seeking an Accounting Supervisor to lead the corporate accounting team at our Long Beach office. You will oversee financial reporting, general ledger, reconciliations, and GAAP compliance while mentoring staff and collaborating with cross-functional partners.

In this role, you’ll drive process improvements, support audits, and contribute to internal controls and budgeting efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum six years of progressive accounting experience with focus on financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software; Oracle ERP is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Financial reporting & analysis: prepare and review monthly statements and periodic reports.
• General ledger management and reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Mentor and supervise accounting staff; provide training and develop procedures.
• Support external audits and ensure compliance filings.
