Job summary

Career Team is seeking a Senior Accounting Supervisor to lead the accounting team from a remote location in the United States. You will oversee invoicing, analysis, and project financial reporting while ensuring GAAP compliance across multiple projects.

The role reports to the VP of Finance and requires 7+ years in accounting with 2+ years in leadership. You will manage budgeting, forecasts, and working capital, coordinating with executives and contracts to deliver accurate, timely financial

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• 7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and ability to reconcile complex balance sheets and P&L reports.
• Experience budgeting and forecasting across multiple funding streams (WIOA/government contracting) preferred.
• Advanced MS Excel and accounting software proficiency (QuickBooks, Adaptive Workday, Expensify a plus).

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the accounting team across multiple projects.
• Oversee invoicing, analysis, and reporting of project financial status.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for GAAP compliance.
• Direct budgeting, forecasting, and working capital management for projects.
• Coordinate with senior leadership and contracts/customers on financial reporting.
