Hungryroot is seeking a Senior Manager, Accounting and Reporting to lead GAAP reporting, technical accounting, and the close cycle. You will drive Controllership transformation, apply an AI charter, and collaborate with the Finance & Accounting team in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

The role requires CPA, 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, and strong NetSuite/Excel skills. This remote-first position offers equity and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

CPA certification is required.
At least 6 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of ASC 606/718/842/350-40 and related FASB/SEC guidance.
Proficient in NetSuite and advanced Excel.
Ability to research complex accounting treatment independently.
Experience with AI tools in processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

Prepare audit- and external-ready technical memos and policies.
Support evolution of reporting function with GAAP-based results.
Serve as primary contact for external audit and policy positions.
