Job summary

Axon Enterprise in Scottsdale, AZ seeks an Accounting Operations Senior Analyst to ensure accurate monthly close, GL consolidation, and intercompany eliminations with cross-functional collaboration across Controllership, FP&A, and IT.

The role supports OneStream implementation, enhances internal controls, and drives analytics on operating expenses in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work schedule with onsite Tue–Fri and remote Mondays.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• CPA designation or progress toward CPA preferred.
• 3–6+ years accounting experience with GL consolidation experience preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with flux and variance analysis on P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Experience with consolidation tools; OneStream/HFM experience a plus.
• Strong intercompany accounting knowledge in a multi-entity environment.
• Experience in SaaS/tech or multinational settings a plus.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Advanced Excel; Power BI or reporting automation skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including GL consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and account reconciliations across multiple entities.
• Perform in-depth analytical reviews of operating expenses, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency.
• Prepare and review flux analysis over the P&L and Balance Sheet, explaining key drivers of variance.
• Support the rollout and adoption of OneStream, including data validation and monthly close reviews.
• Partner with Accounting Operations, Revenue Accounting, FP&A, and IT to ensure accurate, timely consolidated results.
• Prepare and record journal entries related to consolidations and close activities.
• Strengthen internal controls during close, including SOX procedure documentation.
• Identify process improvements and automation to reduce reliance on manual spreadsheets.
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and analyses.
