Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Director of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations to lead the global consolidation and close processes, ensuring GAAP compliance and robust internal controls.

The role drives OneStream-based reporting, oversees multi-entity accounting, and collaborates with international finance teams on acquisitions and integration initiatives. A CPA and 10+ years in accounting are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• CPA required.
• 10+ years of progressive accounting, reporting, and consolidation experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting or finance organizations.
• Significant experience overseeing global consolidations.
• Hands-on experience with OneStream or other leading EPM platform.
• Experience supporting multinational organizations and their consolidation process.
• Public accounting background preferred.
• Experience with acquisitions, ASC 805; merger integrations preferred.
• Expert knowledge of ASC 810 and ASC 830.
• Understanding of OneStream VB.NET logic is a plus.
• Strong project and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual global consolidation processes.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements and schedules.
• Oversee ownership structures, legal entity hierarchies, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations in OneStream.
• Manage foreign currency translation and multi-entity reporting.
• Lead accounting close governance and coordinate activities across international finance teams.
• Establish close performance metrics and drive continuous improvement.
• Support reporting requirements with related teams; review disclosures.
• Ensure U.S. GAAP compliance and perform accounting analyses affecting consolidation conclusions.
• Oversee internal controls over consolidation, close, and reporting activities.
• Coordinate external audits related to consolidation and financial systems.
• Monitor compliance with accounting policies.
