Job summary

Fondo, a global, mostly remote accounting platform for startups, is hiring a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee client accounting, audits, and staff leadership. You will liaise with clients and external agencies, guiding a team of staff accountants to meet diverse client needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA with attest authority is required.
• 5+ years of accounting or auditing experience and completing financial reviews.
• Proficient in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to manage multiple clients’ financials and describe processes clearly.
• Strong knowledge of accounting theory, principles, and practices.

Responsibilities

• Review monthly/quarterly/annual financial reports for multiple clients to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee staff of accounting managers and associates.
• Participate in growing financial review and audit practice.
• Record and manage client's payroll, accounts receivable, fixed assets, accounts payable, etc.
• Adhere to proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
• Track billable hours between different clients.
• Organizing documents online in Google Drive & Fondo App.
