Job summary

Attivo Partners is seeking a Senior Accountant to own critical accounting tasks and support rapid company growth. This is a remote position with preferred locations including SF Bay Area, NYC, LA, Austin, and Boston, with occasional travel for events.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and experience with major accounting software. The firm offers competitive salary plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with standard software solutions (QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Campfire, Brex, Ramp, Rippling, Gusto, Rillet, Carta).
• Highly detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Fast learner with high degree of professional curiosity and desire to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
• Experience implementing workflow automation or AI-enabled tools is preferred; familiarity with generative AI tools and automation platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounting duties in AP, AR, cash management, payroll, FA, GL and other duties as assigned.
• Assist with the monthly close process by posting monthly journal entries, performing account reconciliations and ad-hoc financial analysis.
• Assist in maintaining regular contact and building solid working relationships with various groups to ensure high-level customer service and work product.
• Assist on projects and ad hoc assignments as needed.
