Job summary

Coframe is seeking an Accounting Manager to own core accounting workstreams as the company scales. You will maintain financial records, ensure GAAP compliance, support payroll and procurement, and assist with audits in a fast-paced startup.

You will manage month-end close, AP/AR, billing, and general ledger, while coordinating with leadership on reporting and fundraising diligence. The role requires strong technical accounting skills and a proactive, process‑oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of accounting experience, public or private sector preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and GAAP.
• Analytical mindset with attention to data accuracy and detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; thrives in a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations per US GAAP.
• Manage AP, AR, billing, payroll, GL, and related processes with accuracy.
• Oversee billing, invoicing, and collections for enterprise customers.
• Support audits, tax filings, and various financial reviews.
• Monitor spend, classify costs, and oversee vendor onboarding and expense flow.
• Maintain payroll accuracy and equity records; assist with 409A valuations.
• Prepare monthly reporting package and assist with board materials and fundraising diligence.
• Design scalable controls and close checklists to protect the company.
