Job summary

Henrico Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee accounting and finance duties for multiple client engagements. You will lead monthly and annual financial reporting and ensure GAAP controls.

Responsibilities include coordinating external audits, mentoring staff, and developing forecast models and budgets. Build trusted advisory relationships with client management and support CFO capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reporting.
• Coordinate annual audits with client external audits.
• Assist in the implementation of new accounting systems as necessary.
• Teach and mentor Accounting and Finance personnel in their accounting skills development.
• Develop strong working relationships with client counterparts.
• Develop detailed knowledge of industry-specific financial structures such as event closings and show settlements.
• Participate with the DOF in developing forecast models and annual budgets for each location.
• Develop working relationships with management teams of each location and become a trusted financial advisor.
• Work with the DOF to develop “CFO” capabilities beyond accounting technical skills to build a well-rounded skill set necessary for career advancement.
• Serve as backup for DOF when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
