Legends in Richmond, VA seeks a Senior Accounting Manager to oversee monthly and annual financial reporting for three client entities. You will ensure GAAP compliance, coordinate annual audits, and help implement new accounting systems while mentoring finance staff.

You will forge strong relationships with client counterparts and develop forecasting models and budgets for each location, acting as a trusted financial advisor to senior management.

Responsibilities

• Primary responsibility for accurate and timely monthly and annual financial reporting with GAAP controls.
• Coordinate and support client external audits.
• Assist in implementing new accounting systems as needed.
• Teach and mentor Accounting and Finance personnel.
• Develop strong working relationships with client counterparts.
• Develop knowledge of industry-specific financial structures such as event closings and show settlements.
• Contribute to forecast modeling and annual budgets for each location.
• Build relationships with management teams and act as trusted financial advisor.
• Support DOF to develop CFO capabilities beyond accounting basics.
• Serve as backup for DOF when necessary.
• Take on other duties as assigned.
