Dockwa is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to own the core accounting function, lead the monthly close, and coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors in a remote-first US-wide role. You’ll also partner with Revenue Operations to ensure airtight contract-to-cash processes and robust compliance.

With multi-state payroll oversight and a focus on process automation, you will drive scalable controls and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations to maintain data integrity

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance and CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ years in a senior/management role.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and full-cycle month-end close.
• Experience managing external audits and corporate tax returns.
• Multi-state payroll compliance and external payroll providers.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, process-improvement mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment with proactive cross-team communication.

Responsabilités

• Own the full monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, flux analysis, and financial statement prep.
• Lead external audits and corporate tax return coordination with auditors and tax advisors.
• Partner with RevOps to manage order-to-cash, revenue recognition, and billing integrity.
• Address regulatory, tax, and compliance matters across jurisdictions.
• Oversee multi-state payroll processing, with HR and payroll providers.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement automation to scale accounting workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Operations on payment processing and data integrity.
