Job summary

Whip Media is seeking an Accounting Manager / Senior Accounting Manager to own the day-to-day accounting function, run monthly close, manage audits, and lead remote team members. This hands‑on role emphasizes automation and AI for reconciliations and reporting.

You will apply ASC 606 to SaaS contracts, oversee multi‑currency consolidations, and partner with the CFO on strategic finance initiatives in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 6+ years in progressive accounting (8+ for Senior Manager).
• 3+ years in SaaS or software company accounting.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online experience with multi-entity and multi-currency.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and year-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Consolidate multi-entity group including GBP and FX remeasurement.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for leadership and lenders.
• Oversee revenue recognition under ASC 606 and billing processes.
• Manage audits, tax provision, and SOC 1/2 controls.
• Oversee AP, payroll, commissions, and vendor payments.
• Lead outsourced remote team and drive automation using AI tools.
