The role focuses on managing financial reporting, month-end and year-end close processes, audit support, and multi-entity accounting operations for a real estate development-focused organization.

Key duties include coordinating audits, ensuring U.S. GAAP compliance, budgeting support, and collaborating with HR on payroll and benefits reconciliations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel and ERP/accounting software proficiency.
• CPA designation or CPA candidate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Prepare and review financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee general ledger accounting and ensure U.S. GAAP compliance.
• Coordinate audit preparation and act as primary contact during external audits.
• Support tax filings, regulatory reporting, and internal control compliance.
• Review intercompany transactions, allocations, and reconciliations.
• Assist with budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Collaborate with HR on payroll and related financial reconciliations.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen accounting procedures and controls.
• Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff.
