MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to plan, direct, and administer all work pertaining to financial reviews, payroll, HR, and PO reconciliation for a large multi-location operation.

The role requires directing payroll staff, ensuring accurate weekly payroll, and coordinating with HR on hires, status changes, and benefits, while maintaining compliance with federal and state laws. Strong leadership and Excel skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of accounting experience or applicable experience.
• Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Supervise payroll staff and oversee weekly payroll processing.
• Coordinate payroll, benefits, and HR information with relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with corporate, Federal, and State requirements.
• Manage accounts payable and assist with inquiries from employees, offices, and vendors.
• Lead payroll audits, benefit enrollments, and year-end processes.
• Review and ensure accuracy of financial statements with the General Manager and Regional Controller.
• Perform month-end and year-end close including accruals, journal entries, and variance analysis.
