Job summary

USA Clinics Group in Northbrook, IL is seeking an Accounting Manager to join a growing finance team. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Accounting Manager will be responsible for the management, direction, and operation of general accounting activities including accounts payable, general ledger, subsidiary ledgers, and related functions.

Provides for the preparation of financial statements and reports in such areas as recording disbursements, expenses, and tax payments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, general ledger maintenance, and taxes.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits and the annual internal controls audit.
• Assess current practices and implement improvements to accounting processes.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as requested.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff; manage performance and training.
