USA Clinics Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our Northbrook, IL team in a full-time role. The analyst will report to the Controller and CFO, handling AP tasks, journal entries, and month-end close with a focus on accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline.
• Month-end close experience required.
• Accounts Payable experience required.
• Proven ability to apply accounting concepts to resolve problems and ensure accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proficiency with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific Accounts Payable activities through input of accounting transactions and monitoring results.
• Calculates and prepares weekly payments, journal entries, reconciliations and metrics.
• Performs month-end close processes and documents close procedures.
• Improves month-end close and payment processing workflows.
• Ensures propriety of Accounts Payable entries per policies and trial balances.
