Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our growing finance team in Northbrook, IL. The role reports to the CFO and oversees general accounting activities, including AP, GL, ledgers, and related tax payments, while ensuring accurate financial reporting and controls.

The position offers full-time, on-site work with a compensation range of $120k–$135k per year. CPA is preferred, and 5+ years of supervisory accounting experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• CPA certification is preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across all organizational levels.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with other financial systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions including accounts payable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Assist with quarterly and year-end audits and corporate financial controls audits.
• Assess practices and procedures and recommend improvements.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as requested.
• Develop staff through performance management and training.
