The role covers accounts payable processing, month-end close, and audit support while adhering to GAAP and internal controls. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is proficiency in Excel; a bachelor's degree in accounting with 3+ years' experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline with 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Month-end close and audit support experience required.
• Experience with Accounts Payable and ability to apply accounting concepts to resolve problems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities for cross-functional interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific Accounts Payable activities through input of accounting transactions and monitoring of results.
• Prepares weekly payments, journal entries, reconciliations, and metrics.
• Contributes to month-end close processes and improves related procedures.
• Ensures accuracy and confidentiality of accounting data and records.
• Supports audits and ensures compliance with GAAP.
