Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related discipline.
• 3+ years progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and audit support.
• Experience working with Accounts Payable.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Performs specific Accounts Payable activities and monitors accounting results.
• Prepares weekly payments, journal entries, reconciliations and metrics.
• Performs month-end close processes.
• Documents and improves month-end close and payment processes.
• Ensures compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Supports government and financial audits.
