Job summary

USA Clinics Group is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our Corporate team in Northbrook, IL. Reporting to the Controller, you will manage purchasing orders, data entry, and support the overall accounting function.

Key duties include AP processing, PO reconciliation, GL entries, month-end close support, and accurate coding of expenditures. A 2+ year accounting background and an associate or bachelor’s degree are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in an accounting position.
• Associates Degree or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of foundational accounting concepts.
• Experience with GL accounts, month end close, and journal entries.
• Familiar with Excel spreadsheets.
• Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general accounting tasks, including purchase order reconciliation and other ad hoc projects.
• Handle accounts payable tasks: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing.
• Assist with GL accounts, month end close, journal entries.
• Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes.
• Carry out additional related duties and help with special projects on an as-needed basis.
• Additional duties as assigned.
