Job summary

Solomon Page is partnered with a fast-growing hardtech startup in El Segundo seeking a Senior Accounting Manager. This on-site role offers a comp of 170–185k plus bonus and equity, with broad responsibilities across close, reporting, and technical accounting.

You will lead month-end, oversee consolidations, partner with auditors, and drive ERP improvements while mentoring staff and ensuring GAAP compliance. Strong leadership and manufacturing-lean experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience leading close, consolidations, and audit activities.
• Technical accounting research experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, distribution, or product-based environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Own consolidated financial reporting, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Research and resolve technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
• Partner with auditors and manage annual audit processes.
• Drive process improvements across accounting and financial reporting.
• Support acquisition integration and accounting standardization initiatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and leadership teams.
• Mentor accounting staff and help scale the accounting function.
• Support ERP enhancements and reporting optimization efforts.
