Confidential High-Growth Aerospace & Defense Company Start Up in Los Angeles is seeking a process-oriented Accounting Manager to lead month-end close and financial operations. This role will oversee the close cycle, ensure accurate records, and coordinate with offshore teams for timely deliverables.

As the company integrates recently acquired entities, you will support audit readiness and implement scalable processes, while mentoring onshore and offshore staff.

Competenze

• 5+ years of accounting experience, mix of Big 4/national firm audit and private industry preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and ability to apply it to daily transactions.
• Proactive communication with ability to mentor offshore staff and provide clear guidance.

Mansioni

• Month-End Close Execution & Review – drive close checklist, reconciliations, equity rollforwards.
• Core Accounting Operations – fixed assets, cash, AR reviews, intercompany activity.
• Audit Readiness – ensure audit trails, supporting schedules, and clean year transitions.
