Job summary

Burkett Restaurant Equipment & Supplies is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead day-to-day accounting operations, oversee month-end close, and support construction project billing using NetSuite ERP. The role demands hands-on leadership, strong internal controls, and the ability to drive accurate financial results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with month-end close.
• Experience supervising accounting staff is required.
• Strong GAAP knowledge and internal controls.
• Proficient in Excel and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily accounting operations including AP, AR, project billing, cash management, and GL activity.
• Lead the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial results.
• Provide leadership to monitor activity and ensure GAAP compliance and internal controls.
• Lead the accounting team, manage workload, and support VP of Finance.
• Support NetSuite ERP use for general ledger, billing, and reporting.
