Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing accounting team in Buffalo, NY. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records and timely month-end close.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys improving processes and internal controls to support company growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite.
• Understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Controller with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for Controller review.
• Maintain the general ledger and perform reconciliations for bank, credit card, and financing activities.
• Prepare supporting schedules for financial reporting, tax filings, and audits.
