Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to lead accounting operations across multiple business units. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, this role manages the monthly close, delivers reliable financial reporting, maintains strong internal controls, and contributes to budgeting, forecasting, and analysis with strong NetSuite skills.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and implements best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA a plus.
• Hands-on NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
• At least 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Background as a Controller, Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, or Senior Accounting Manager preferred.
• Working knowledge of inventory accounting and multi-channel businesses.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and deliver accurate financial statements.
• Manage core accounting functions, including general ledger, payables, receivables, payroll, and cash.
• Oversee inventory accounting and keep inventory values accurate and well supported.
• Keep the balance sheet clean through account reconciliations and fixed asset management.
• Uphold GAAP compliance and a strong internal control environment.
• Work with operations to improve inventory accuracy and reporting.
• Deliver margin, pricing, and profitability analysis across sales channels.
• Assist the Vice President of Finance with budgets, forecasts, cash flow planning, and financial analysis.
• Keep financial data in NetSuite accurate and help build out Power BI reporting.
• Supervise and develop the accounting staff while strengthening systems and processes.
